Stability is overrated. It is often too big an price to pay for your lifelong sanity.

You seem to be anxious to find something right away. The problem for you would be that the immediate offers would be based on what you were doing before. While tempting and efficient, DO NOT jump in too quickly. If you do, you will be in the same place after blowing a few years of your life. After all, the intrinsic reasons for getting fired now would not have changed.

Take the time to find the right fit. And you will be saying the same thing as Kim, “It was the best thing that happened to me.”
